Fuseini Bukari Akansise

Bukari Fuseini Akansise is an accomplished development and compliance professional with over a decade of experience across public sector administration, project and program management, community development, and organizational leadership. His career is defined by a strong commitment to inclusive development, institutional effectiveness, and sustainable social impact.

Prior to joining TrainUp Consult, Bukari served as Director of Projects and Impact at Community Action for Inclusive Development (CAID), where he led the design, implementation, and evaluation of high-impact, community-driven development initiatives. In this role, he provided strategic leadership to multidisciplinary teams, strengthened monitoring and evaluation frameworks, and oversaw programs that advanced sustainability, social inclusion, and measurable development outcomes.

Bukari also built a distinguished career at the Social Security and National Insurance Trust (SSNIT), Ghana’s premier public social security institution. He held several senior and managerial positions, including Compliance Officer, Senior Compliance Supervisor, Acting Branch Manager, and Assistant Manager. Across these roles, he consistently delivered strong results in compliance enforcement, stakeholder engagement, operational management, and team leadership, contributing to enhanced institutional performance and service delivery.

He holds an MBA in Project Management from Wisconsin University College, an MSc in Development Management, and a BA in Integrated Development Studies from the University for Development Studies. He is currently pursuing a PhD in Development Management and Governance at the same institution. His professional expertise spans project management, monitoring and evaluation, grant and beneficiary management, gender mainstreaming, and sustainability, supported by advanced professional training from institutions such as the World Health Organization (WHO), CEIBS, and Trust Training Limited.

In June 2024, Bukari joined TrainUp Consult as a faculty member, where he teaches Entrepreneurial Leadership & Mindset and Social Entrepreneurship & Impact. In this capacity, he equips emerging leaders and professionals with practical leadership competencies, ethical entrepreneurship principles, and impact-driven approaches to business and social innovation
